Daryl Williams

The STPCA would like to extend our thoughts and support to member, and seminar coordinator Daryl Williams.

For those who don't know, on September 29, 2008, Daryl suffered a massive heart attack while on duty. He was admitted and treated at Wilson Memorial Hospital and later transfered to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY on October 2, 2008. Daryl was released from the hospital with a heart pump installed to provide assistance until he can get a heart transplant.

Last week, Daryl suffered a set back and had some complications due to the blood thinners he is on. He was taken to Wilson Hospital, and has since been transferred back to Strong Memorial for treatment and is currently admitted there.

Please keep Daryl in your thoughts.

Director Shaffer

We would like to welcome Director Duane Shaffer home from Afghanistan. Duane is working for D.O.D. and will be home on leave on January 26. If anyone needs or wants to contact Duane please feel free to send an email to Kaladar1@aol.com .

The instructors that are listed in the package have committed to being here, however some are still active officers who could have something come up last minute. Keep checking back here or to our main site for any changes.

Training Site

As of 1/4/2010, we have sold our current training site on Airport Road in Johnson City. Due to the rising costs of heating the building, and a decrease in recent donations we were forced to make the decision. We are currently in the process of shopping for something more economical, and when we get it up and running we will let everyone know. We will still be training weekly so contact a trainer or another member for the location.
